PSG is not as dominant is it was in recent years but there is no doubt that they are still the best team in France and will most likely add another title this season. PSG vs. Lens: Current situation
Just few years ago, PSG was the home of the best players on the planet and with Kylian Mbappe’s departure this summer, a new era began. Luis Enrique has a young core of the team and is putting the puzzle together in every next game. PSG has been struggling in the Champions League but they are playing very well at home and are back on top of the standings.
Lens is also hanging on with the top of the league within sight, but in order to do something more, they will need to find a way to be more efficient. Whether it is the playing style to just a limited talent in the offensive line, scoring just a goal per game is not the recipe for any significant success in Ligue 1.
PSG Stats & Form
PSG is the only undefeated team in Ligue 1 with 7 wins and 2 draws in 9 matchdays. They were behind Monaco at some point of the season, but it was clear that the team from the south will not be able to keep the pace. Things are not going that well for PSG in the Champions League, as they have only one win in three games. They beat Girona with a late and lucky goal and then lost to Arsenal in London and won only a point against PSV at home. Following this game, PSG will host Atletico Madrid in the next Champions League matchday.
Lens Stats & Form
Lens is hanging on in fifth place in the standings even though they have only 3 wins, but at the same time are the team with the most draws in the league, 5. Lens has combined for the fewest goals in the entire league with a 9-6 goal differential, and at least one of those numbers will look much different after the visit of Paris.
PSG – Lens: Head to Head
PSG has won 6 of the last 10 head-to-head games against Lens, while “Blood and Gold” won two, and two others ended in a tie. Last season, PSG won both games, 3-1 at home and 2-0 on the road. The last time Lens won was on the first day of 2023, when the score was 3-1. Three of the last four games between the two went over 3.5 goals in total, and in 6 of the last 7 both teams scored.
PSG – Lens Odds
PSG is a big favorite to win this game with the odds of 1.43 at 22bet. The visiting team is given 6.70 while the draw is at 4.88. The total goal line is set at 2.5 with 1.48 for over and 2.35 for under.

Betting tip and prediction: PSG - Lens (02.11.2024)
Despite all the departures in recent years, PSG is still the leading force in French football. Head coach Luis Enrique has set up a great group of players in their prime who are eager to keep the team on the highest level, and they are doing a great job this season. Maybe the advantage on top of the standings is not as big as PSG has been used to at this point of the season, but there is no doubt that everything depends on them. PSG has won the last two Ligue 1 games in dominant fashion, and they probably played the best match of the season in a 3-0 road win against Marseille. PSG is now heading to a busy week as they are hosting Atletico Madrid in the Champions League following the game against Lens. That one is way more important for Luis Enrique, as PSG has not made up for the loss to Arsenal in the elite competition. That definitely gives some sort of chance for Lens to hope to stay undefeated at the Parc de Princes. Lens has been the least efficient team outside of the relegation zone with only 9 scored goals so far in the season, but at the same time is tied for the least allowed goals with only six, two less than PSG. Lens’ head coach Will Still will not have many options in the offensive line as Wesley Said and Martin Satriano are both injured. However, Lens cannot expect to keep a clean sheet, which is often their only aspiration when playing on the road, so they will have to try to respond on the offensive end as well. Still, there is a huge quality gap between the two teams, so there is no scenario in which Lens can stay undefeated in this one, so we go with PSG to win this game with at least two goals in the Lens’ net.
